Hello to fellow deviants that visit my place on DeviantART.
I have experienced the demise of film and the take-up of digital, it's been an interesting transition. My background is in broadcast electronics TV & Radio so when the first digital cameras started to become available I was quick on the uptake. My first digital camera was a Kodak DC-290 2 Megapixel and it was brilliant then though by today's standards slow and limited. My first DSLR was a Canon Rebel. (300D) Wow! compared to the DC-290 it was much more like the Canon A1 that I had used for many years. Since then I have progressed as funds permitted with newer Canons until the present Canon 7D. I have now fully embraced the digital process using Photoshop and Lightroom to process/manage my images. Having said that I do miss the thrill of the image slowly appearing in the darkroom.
From my deviations it is not hard to work out that the love of my life is also my most photographed subject. In addition to being an attractive lady she is also the mother of our two sons, a great friend and the best partner in life a man could ever desire.
We have many more pictures of her so many in fact she now has her own website see link below. Some of the images here will eventually make it their too.
